It took 8 hours to do DSG and engine remap on my VW Golf 1.6 Tdi but boy it was worth the wait. 103bhp to 163bhp... I use it daily and the power is just immense. It is very useful when overtaking in narrow roads, accelerating on motorway and generally feeling more response. I am hoping this will not reduce the longevity of the engine. I recommend leaving the car and going somewhere for the rest of the day let them take care of it.
