    When in Hungerford last year, I met Emily and was happy to return to her when we came back to England. In the US I use Aveda. Emily is both kind and very expert in cutting and styling. I have very short fine hair, and she spent a lot of time scissor cutting my short style. Emily is excellent. And the whole staff is so personable, the salon is full of character and style.     I tried to make an appointment for the same day which was available but I took exception to be asked for: My name ..obviously My phone number…fine My email address….not necessary My bank card number….no way And was informed this would be necessary for a deposit….!!!!! I have never in sixty years of going to hairdressers in capital cities all over the world been asked for a deposit in order to have my hair washed!!!!! I thought maybe the next question might be ‘what did you have for breakfast ‘! Ridiculous amount of unnecessary waffle. A shame because I do go to the hairdressers every week and I have just moved to the area. Never mind …..

Returned late December to see Gemma again with the addition of a hairwash, Lovely experience yet again, I am hooked!!!! Back again today to see Gemma. this time she gave me a head massage along with my hairwash and haircut which I loved. Now it is nothing less than a total addiction.
