I was very happy with Perfect Start until 8.00pm Friday 29 August when the police and a social worker turned up at my flat and I was accused of child abuse due to bruising the nursery had seen on my son. Cutting a very long story short, we were taken to East Surrey hospital where my son was fully checked out and found to have a polythelia (3rd nipple) and a small birth mark. We were sent home immediately as there was no concern and I have since received a letter from the hospital stating there was no cause for concern and any bruising was typical of an energetic 2 year old, plus the 2 mentioned above. No apology from the nursery and they have not responded to my e mails, I am disgusted with them, such a shame because he enjoyed going

My Son never really settled in well to his last nursery where he went 1 day a week for 6 months. I could never get him in for the full 0800-1800 day and always had tears at handover. When we moved to the area i was nervous of him starting all over again and this time for 2 consecutive days. I am now pregnant with my 2nd and was so anxious of how he would manage. However, he took so well to the staff and the environment right from his settling in visits. He goes twice a week sometimes from as early as 0730. He never cries when i take him in and is so happy and full of energy when my husband or i pick him up. The building is clean, bright and spacious with fantastic gardens and equipment and an amazing 3 week seasonal menu! My Son has recently changed to a dairy free diet that they have accommodated so well. They have a great parent fb group where i can see pictures of the wonderful and creative activities they have set up for each class which they change on a daily basis!! Also the parent zone app where i can see updates, moments and pictures of what my little person has been up to and achieving aswell as a professional analysis of his development and goals. I really cant recommend Perfect Start enough. We are so happy he has settled in so well and just over the moon with how far he has come since starting there. Thank you to all.the wonderful staff who have made this transition so easy for us all 😊🙏🏼

My only experience of nursery prior to sending our daughter to Perfect Start was my own.....many many years ago! I'm reliably told by my own parents that I found the experience quite terrifying, and so I was naturally anxious to find somewhere where our daughter (who is 14 months old) would be well looked after and supported. We couldn't be more pleased with our choice. We were initially drawn to Perfect Start because the playrooms seemed so bright and airy, with a wide selection of toys (but not too many at once so as to overload them). Our daughter absolutely loves the meals that they provide; there is a lot of variety and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. I am often tempted to eat there myself! The staff are incredible; they clearly work exceptionally hard and put a lot of thought into the various activities that they do with the children (sensory tables, etc.) all of which has definitely helped our daughter to grow in confidence and to begin learning to walk and talk. They are also very diligent when it comes to cleanliness, both in terms of minimising infection risk and also ensuring that our daughter is changed as often as is needed so that she is comfortable throughout the day. We really couldn't ask for more.

We are new to the area and brought our little girl to join perfect Start around October last year. We were initially concerned after having almost 8 months out of nursery, that our daughter was a little behind in terms of her development. I have to say, the level of skill and professionalism that the staff have in abundance has removed this worry from me. I have seen our daughter progress more in the last three months with perfect Start than I have ever seen her develop in the entire of the last three years. These guys know what they are doing. And, a great bunch too. Kat, Janice and Rachel are all fantastic. From us, we love perfect Start and our daughter genuinely looks forward to going in. You won't go wrong with this fantastic nursery.

My daughter has been attending Perfect Start in Horsham since September and the team have been nothing less than amazing with her. The time and effort that her Key worker put in with her has been amazing and the development that our daughter has made is a joy to watch. I never need to stress of worry as I know she is in safe hands. She gets to join in with the daily activities, eats lots and lots of lovely food which she can't get enough of and just loves it!!! The nursery manager is so friendly, always keeps us up to date, and has done a brilliant job at keeping everyone safe in the current times. As a family it is clear that we made the right choice in nursery for our daughter and have recommended it to both friends and family.
