    I was recommended to see Stephen when I had lost all hope of ever recovering from chronic pain. I’d got myself into such a state, seen so many different ‘specialists’, ‘professionals’ both conventional and alternative and nothing had helped. Even on my first appointment I was very doubtful that things would change. How wrong was I. The only word to describe Stephen is magical. His skill set is beyond anyone I have ever met. Stephen has an unbelievable extensive knowledge of science but more importantly his unique understanding of the mind body connection meant that he was not only able to address the physical pain but also the long lived emotions that I had no idea were contributing to it. By trusting him and the process I find myself for the first time in so long, out of pain & stronger than I have ever felt both physically and emotionally. For that- I am eternally grateful.

    I went the first time to see Stephen Makinde with chronic shoulder and neck pain. I've had it for a few years. I saw many doctors and tried all kinds of treatments that were temporary. The maximum releif I got was just a few days and then the pain is back. I was very happy with the results I had from my sessions with him. It's been 6 weeks since my first visit and I can say 80% of the pain is gone and we started working on minor issues along side treating my shoulder. I appreciated how responsive he was because I had to travel and he made his best to fit me into his busy schedule. I owe my recovery to him and I'm grateful a friend of mine recommended him.

    Having suffered from back pain for over 12 years and trying many different physio's, osteo's etc. I was starting to give up on ever being able to find someone that could really help me and stop the back pain I was suffering from which all stemmed from lifting a heavy chair at work and putting my back out and having a bulging disc as a consequence. One Sunday morning I woke up in such agony and in dia need of seeing someone and having googled and trying a few numbers with no luck I came across Perfect Balance and they were absolutely amazing, I got booked in within a few hours and after the very first treatment I was starting to feel better with the pain dramatically decreased. Twelve years on I have used PB for various different, back, neck, shoulder issues and I have always only needed no more than two sessions at any one time of having issues and it then clearing up for a long period of time before another flare up. Due to such positive experiences I have since recommended PB to many different friends/colleagues/family members who have all had treatment at PB and are now loyal clients also, Impeccable service, highly qualified team of therapists who are dedicated to making you better as quickly as possible. Being treated at the clinic has helped address the route cause of problems that I have had, so rather than numbing pain with tablets I have been able to receive treatments including acupuncture which have helped to provide long term pain relief. The great thing about visiting an exceptional healthcare professional is that they not only treat the cause but help you to become part of the long term solution by providing aftercare advice to change behaviours so that you don't end up in the same position again. When I visit Perfect Balance I know that it is money well spent - and my body definitely appreciates it!

I instantly got through to the bookings team and made the change. When I got the session, it was really easy to get to and find. The osteopath was able to diagnosed the issue straight away.
