Just got one of Peregrine's waxed jackets and I love it. I actually sold a Barbour jacket because it was an odd fitting and my shoulders wouldn't fit it (but still good looking) and replaced it with the Peregrine which is a fantastic fit. I particularly like the fact they designed the ability to cinch the waist with buttons which allows the waist fit to be more tailored if needed when shoulders are broad. I'd say the Peregrine is generally a better made jacket than other waxed cotton jackets I've seen and owned. The British Millerain wax cotton really makes a difference. That's not blind patriotism (bad quality is available anywhere), but the wax cotton on this jacket has achieved the very hard balance between having enough wax in it to patina and 'crack' while staying on the safe side of wax transfer onto car seats etc. It's also in a colour with a little more vibrancy (mustard) than typical cotton shades from other makers. It's a really well thought out jacket designed with functionality as much as style. Really pleased. Definitely worth a look if you're thinking of buying a wax jacket. 10/10
