After visiting the store a number of times including several times in the past year, I was shocked when the store owner suddenly demanded PROOF of mask exemption on my last visit. Such behaviour is not only unlawful but made me feel very uncomfortable. Asking about people's medical history or demanding to see proof is not the way to treat customers and is also in breach of the 2010 Equalities Act. Discrimination is never acceptable.
