Another great piece of work by Max. We asked him to freshen up an old picture that contained 7 prints by ballet costume designer Leon Bakst, originally the picture had a Perspex front which had been in direct sunlight and had become very foggy and dull. Max removed the Perspex and replaced it with UV glass, cleaned the mount and changed the hangers. The result is a picture that now looks as fresh and new as when we first got it. It is totally rejuvenated and has been brought back to life, and as usual it cost far less than we expected. Often when you consider buying picture frames you will look at buying from a well known flat pack furniture company, but for not much more money you can have a professionally hand made quality product made individually just for you. Max is a nice friendly man, always pleasant, smiling and friendly, a pleasure to do business with. Ps. The white circle at top right corner of picture is a reflexion of the hall way lamp... not a flaw in the glass/framing.

I got him to frame a Jack Vetriano print for me, he did a brilliant job and it looks fantastic and the added bonus, it was a lot cheaper than I expected, the online quotes were nearly double what he charged me. What more could you ask for, VFM, local, friendly and professional.

I can accross Peppercorn framing when i was desperately trying to find a excellent framer for my recently purchased 100cm x 100cm print. It was my first time working with a framer and as i was searching i came across many and various framers, but none of them seemed to understand it like Max, he was the first framer which understood my circumstances. I was looking for a frame that would not be too expensive but still had quality that would last and something that looekd great aswell. I was quoted by many other framers £300/£400+ and i really could not afford to spend that much on what is essentially a pane of glass and wood. But Max seemed to understand that I was not looking to spend more than what the print was worth on the frame. I came in with the print and showed it to Max and he has many designs of frame and I was only after a simple white border and he had just that, the final piece looks stunning and Max went even above and beyond to deliver it for a small fee which was more than i could of asked for from him. the whole exerience with Max was soo easy and smooth i will definately recommend max to anyone looking to get their framing done, he done an excellent job and once again thank you.
