A fantastic medical centre. With young children ranging from newborn upto 6 years, they will always see the children promptly and answer any queries online via askmygp and are also extremely prompt for myself. Askmygp is a fantastic service to save ringing and I have always had a reply within 48hours, 80% of the time within the same day.

Not good enough. Lazy and apathetic staff. Communication difficult and actively discouraged from using the telephone which for the elderly is unacceptable.

I have been Battling gastritis for 5 months various different tablets countless doctors appointments which for some reason seem to take 3 weeks for each appointment so by the time I get in my gastritis is way worse than the last time.. currently scared for my life as I don’t even think they know what’s going on with my insides just finished another 4 weeks of tablets still no better all this could have been avoided by sending me for an abdominal scan to see the cause of the issues but they just keep pumping me with different tablets and guessing. At my wits end, diet changes, lifestyle changes I have tried everything.. where did this all start ? A case of food poisoning that wasn’t treated by pennygate as they “missed it” even though I told them I eat meat last night and now I’m sick… put me straight on omeprazole.. which actually makes gastritis worse. We’re is the end to all this ? Probably me having to change doctors as none of the doctors here have treated a simple case of gastritis for 5 months now. Also trying to get through on the phone is non existent trying all day today Friday 5th may it won’t even ring. About 10 staff work behind that desk so I have no idea how this is possible. I have edited this review to add to it because they have turned reviews off

OK once you get past office staff. It seems like the tail is wagging the dog since this system has been changed. It might be better for some, just isn't for a lot of patients ie spending more time on the phone waiting to try and speak to somebody medical. Unnecessary return trips when mistakes are made to prescription orders or trying to see a doctor.
