It should be a minus 5 stars After ordering a steering cable over the phone I was assured that the said item was in stock and put to one side for me to collect the next day. With the tender stripped ready for the new cable we set off on the 1.5 hr journey from Windermere to collect it. On arrival and requesting the part the owner admitted that he had made a mistake and it was not in stock. Totally ruined my weeks holiday in the Lake District. Absolutely pathetic response from him Amazon here I come

I bought 2 second hand engines off these guys last year, I had problems with both engines , one was replaced immediately with a more expensive younger model and the other, which was a yamaha 25hp 2 stroke was completely striped down and repaired. They even sent their mechanic, on a saturday afternoon to pick it up. I cant praise these guys enough and after the service I had from them I would never use anyone else. It's very easy to give good service when things go well but when problems occur, that is when you find out just how good the company you are dealing with truly are and on that basis I have never recieved such a top quality service.
