When I arrived the counter (store is inside Selfridges) was unmanned and I had to wait. Another member of Selfridges’ staff had to beckon to get the attendant to return to her post. I wanted to do a return of something purchased at a Penhaligon’s stand alone boutique and was rudely told that it is not a full Penhaligon’s store so they cannot accept returns from other stand alone Penhaligon’s boutiques. Always have had excellent and friendly service in other boutiques, the service at this counter was not up to Penhaligon’s standards.
