We stayed in the Valley Suite for our honeymoon and everything was perfect from start to finish! We needed somewhere that allowed dogs, catered for vegans and had a bath and Pen-y-Dyffryn had it all. The service was exemplary and the food was outstanding. Thankyou for making our stay very special.

Brilliant hotel overlooking Wales. Excellent room called 'Lower court'. Our bedroom was in a block of three. I believe it was converted from stables? The door was a stable door that did not fit together and a lovely icy draught kept our feet icy cold, which added to the excitement of staying in a wet and dismal area. The whole room took on a look of the 1940's as the two chairs were almost as comfortable as a stone wall. But the food was excellent and made up for all the other discomforts. Only sad that they seemed to have run out of potatoes for the main meal every evening and the broccoli was all uncooked, but every meal had broccoli so we did get used to it. The whole experience was uplifting and we did laugh at hearing the mice at night in the loft. A great four nights in such a lovely cold hotel made us realise that we could not wait to get home.
