Two reason for visiting somewhere for coffee, great coffee or a great location. This cerainly has the latter in spades, weather permitting sit outside on the terrace and admire the view stretching miles westwards. Only eaten there a few times as this is a mid morning stop for us, sandwiches are good and fresh though. The Gardens are also a delight with plenty of Royal Parks attention going into keeping them looking good.

Pembroke Lodge is beautifully situated in Richmond Park and overlooks the Thames below. We had a delightful walk in the garden on a sunny morning after coffee/ tea with warm delicious plain or fruit scones accompanied by clotted cream and strawberry. If you choose to sit on the patio especially on a sunny and warm day, BEWARE of cheeky blackbirds! One swiped a piece of croissant off a friend's hand mid ingestion! Car park tends to be very busy after 11am.
