Visited this shop today with my mother in law and parter to collect a serviced sewing machine. I was astounded at how rude the service was. The manager served my mother in law and spoke to her in such a rude and agitated tone which myself and my partner were stunned to see. When asked to show features that had been repaired she became even more confrontational and rude. My partner had to step in at the end of the sale to highlight how awful the tone of her service has been. I have never seen my family spoken to in a disrespectful like this before and would never return. If zero stars were an option, I would be giving this as my rating.

This is a great wee place. I was completely new to sewing and feeling a bit daunted and out-of-my depth. Pembertons were really friendly and helpful. They have a great range of machines, accessories, fabric, patterns etc. Best of all, the team there has a lot of skills and experience, and they're happy to give info/advice. [6 months in and I have a sewing machine, overlocker and I'm making clothes, curtains and patchwork!]
