Great cycle trails, plenty of parking. Really nice atmosphere about the place. Café is spot on. Yes it's a bit of a wait when you want food at peak time on a busy Sunday but the menu is exactly what you want from this sort of place, the quality is good and the prices aren't mental either.

My partner & I hired a tandem bike for the day. We enjoyed it very much. It would have been 5* but the bike needed a touch of tlc/servicing. Staff & facilities were great.

What a fantastic trail! Had such a great time on the Family Trail. Hired a bike - high quality and very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff at the bike hire and in both cafés, efficient service. More importantly, the best coffee and hot chocolate ever. Will visit again. Perfect day 🙂

Not all but most staff extremely rude and unhelpful. The owner was a bit better than general staff but not by much. They treat you as if they’re doing you a favour. Luckily there is a different bike hire place just down the road which is so friendly.

Always love going there, I find new trails on every visit tbh. After my 1st visit in January, I ended up buying a better bike. Almost a year later, I am finding new & more fun trails. As I improve, it means that I need to upgrade my bike - again 😆. And I want to, so that I can ride more of the delightful tech trails there.

29 Nov 2022 update. Good variety of well maintained and ever improving trails. The Vergers may only be a blue but it has a stunning finish. You can then push up and do Launch Pad another blue descent that will put a smile on your face. The red from the bottom has a very odd middle section where the trail maker literally lost his/her way and is worth avoiding as it is long and monotonous but probably OK on an E bike. There is interesting off piste and enduro type stuff if you look for it along the trail to East of the trail center. I updated 26 Apr 2022 and upgraded to 5 stars mainly due to improved food namely the wild boar and veggie burgers along with some excellent carrot cake. However don't get too excited about the food I visited today 29 Nov 22 and have had to down grade the food to 3 stars. The food now rates as mediocre. Burgers are all gone in spite of the damage the wild boar are doing around the tracks. Replaced by very average pannies with slightly stale crisps, altogether a very salty snack. The chocolate and caramel cake was a little dry too. My friend said the fruit cake was good though so not all bad. I inquired about the food situation and was told "it" was too expensive I'm assuming he was referring to the burgers? There is a very welcoming wood burning stove to keep the chill off. There is also a small shop with too many clothes for sale and not enough components if you have an actual problem. A bike wash for a pound and you need cash. Cycle hire - only if you book online at least last time I looked and cancellation terms are rubbish like you lose your money. Summary 5 star trails 3 star grub which is disappointing to report.
