Previously a Ginger Pig customer I started coming here during lockdown and frankly have never looked back. The staff are excellent - skilled, knowledgeable and super friendly. The range of meat is fantastic, well priced, great quality. Like others have said brilliant sausages, they do a cracking porchetta too. Their steaks never disappoint and I’m partial to their beef short rib too. Lucky to have it in the area! Thanks guys.

As a non-meat eater, (no moral high ground. I'm just not fussed about the taste), I did not have a clue about cooking or buying meat when I went to buy gammon for 10 guests. I need not have worried. The staff were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and not in the slightest bit condescending of my ignorance. They advised me on the correct weight, cooking methods and timings. The dinner was a great success, and the meat was highly praised. I do not know anything about meat prices, but my Mum said the joint I bought was good value. Thanks to the lovely gentlemen for their assistance and patience with all of my questions. Also when I first walked into the shop I was impressed by the range of produce, (all types of meat, homemade pies, lovely relishes etc. ), and how clean the store was. I would highly recommend this store.
