Just been absolutely fleeced by Pearsons of Duns. I purchased a tipper load of logs for £350 and judging with all other descriptions of tipper loads they consist of 3 bags. I received the equivalent of two dumpy bags for £350. I could have purchased the same dumpy bags from Pearsons with the same logs for £145.00 each, instead I was charged £60 more for the same amount. I tried to phone and complain and they were not interested in forming a resolution. Absolutely furious at being ripped off by so much. Not happy and will not be using this company again, I highly recommend you shop else where for your fire wood unless you like massively overpaying !!! Shop around there are some much cheaper places with better wood local.

I’ve had a great experience with Pearsons until now. I live on the third floor and logs in bags were delivered at the flat door several times - great service. Now told they can only deliver to the ground floor because the lorry is too big to park - something the furniture and appliance deliveries on large trucks have managed to figure out.

Been shopping online for a stove top fan. Found one on Pearsons website. £50. Says on the website "nationwide delivery". Go to order it and they charge £47.00 for delivery. The item is small and weighs about 1 kg. I phoned up to see if this was an error and if i can pay sensible delivery costs and the person i spoke to asked where i was - South Coast of England. She then said - we are in the Boarders so i'm not suprised it will cost £47 delivery! and so curt and rude. Why not send it by Royal Mail £5 or Carrier - £10?! So out of date and ridiculous. Why do you even have an online shop? Such a waste of my time.
