We recently purchased a property listed with Pearsons in Denmead office. We were met promptly at the property by the agent and shown around. Upon our successful acceptance of our offer on the property the Agent kept us informed at all times. They acted as the middle communication loop between us and our sellers which was helpful and quicker than trying to go through solicitors. We have successfully bought and sold with Pearsons over the years and indeed our previous purchase was also through this office. The service is superb and goes above and beyond expectations. ROGUE BRANCH - FIND ANOTHER AGENT I had assumed that Pearsons as a whole were a rogue bunch after 3 separate experiences with Graham at the Denmead branch. It appears that the Denmead branch is the rogue operation as the other branches have plenty of glowing reviews. Over the course of a few months, I met Graham 3 times. Each time, he dished up standard pressure selling estate agent speak such as: - The interest in this property has been overwhelming - I have had 'x' amount of viewings already on this property already today - If you want to make an offer, then I'd be happy to take it now as I know several other people are also considering making offers. Despite the above pressure selling techniques, these properties remained on the market for months!! On a couple of occasions I asked for clarification on some fundamental points such as clarification on the boundaries, or obligations relating to an unadopted road or whether or not a tree had a PTO on and may hinder development. On these occasions Graham just bluffed his way through and assured me that there would be no issues. I explained that despite any assurances from Graham, I would like some definite clarity as Graham really doesn't inspire confidence. Graham agreed to find out and come back to me. Despite following up, I never have been able to obtain these pieces of information. On one occasion, I resorted to knocking on the door of the seller a week later, to find out from the seller directly. The seller was immediately available to answer my questions and was very frustrated because nobody from Pearsons had even asked for this information despite telling me ''we are still waiting for this information from the seller'' On one occasion, Graham was obviously desperate to sell a house and told me in a hushed tone, that the seller would probably accept an offer of 'x' which was over 15% off the asking price. If I was the seller, I would have been horrified at these techniques. Sorry Graham, you simply don't inspire confidence. Your assurances and empty promises remind me of a stereotypical experience of purchasing a second hand vehicle where the salesman tells you that almost all of his vehicles are ''from elderly ladies who rarely used the vehicle'' Graham, I suggest you take up a new career as a used car salesman. Free advice - you are welcome!

They were more communicative with us than the agents in Kent who were selling our property. Always polite and accommodating for our viewings.
