  My elderly father's property has been on the market since July 2022, we had a buyer very quickly and the estate agent were very good showing people around for us as my father is a little frail, unfortunately the house fell through(which was understandable as I had spoken with the buyer)and he had extremely good reason.The house was then re listed for sale and we accepted an offer.... I was told the reason by the estate agent for the purchase, and felt it would be great for this sale....communication from the estate agent had been next to nothing, the odd e mail suggesting we were near to completion, complete nonsense as, only through my solicitor I might add, there were lots of issues brought to my attention, I then reduced the price, again with the help of my solicitor to help with the work required on the property ... all good?, still no communication from my estate agents, we then were asked if we could extend the completion to the middle of May, again through my solicitor we accepted the beginning of May, on the 27th April I received a phone call from my solicitor who asked me'have you heard from Charles' (estate agent)?..... I said no of course, she then said what no phone call?, can you check your emails/junk mail.... no email received?...... the buyer had pulled out, to say I was heartbroken(more so for my father who, unfortunately I don't know how much time he has now)was just soul destroying. It has been well over 10 months now with no sale, Just so very disappointed and feel completely unsupported by Pearsons, such a shame to think they could not find it within themselves to just let us know?.

  My husband and i have been trying to get the office to call or email us. We have left so may messages and still nobody has called. So not a good service at all. Is the house in Wherwell for sale at 475k, is it a scam. I genuinely don't understand. Does the office still operate? Also there is no head office number to call. All we know is that it is a franchise. Maybe someone else could enlighten us?

  I thought you might be interested in my thoughts on your company's performance. The only person I have met from your company was your previous partner David. I expect his sudden departure from the business was not an easy matter to deal with. I heard nothing from your office for weeks and knew nothing of David's departure until I requested an update from your office.I had in the meantime given serious consideration to withdrawing my house from the market and looking for another agent to take over the matter. Fortunately  for your company I was able to speak with Angela Platt who immediately went into action to find out what was happening and then to keep me in the picture. She organised the readings of the gas and electricity meters on several occasions and contacted the buyer and their solicitor for regular updates. Without her actions, I am not sure that this sale would have gone through when it did. I would like to place on record my  appreciation of the dedication of Angela Platt on the sale of my property. Without her, your company would have  lost my business. I do hope that you will find my thoughts helpful  for the best interests of your company.

  We had a brilliant experience with Pearsons Estate Agents. My sister and I sold a flat my mother owned that we had never been too. This mixed with a tricky buyer meant that we needed the agents to help us a lot to answer questions abut the property including the inventory. Angie went above and beyond. She took the time to go the the house multiple times and ensured we got the sale over the line. She was helpful, prompt and thorough. Couldn't recommend enough. :)

  Me and my partner inquired about a property for a viewing and our details were taken down, we received no communication from the estate agent and when we called, the gentlemen on the phone told us that it had already gone to another couple as they had offered more money which we were never given the chance to match the offer or offer more despite saying we were happy to do so thus not being given the opportunity. The gentlemen went on to say that we received an email that we were unsuccessful which is completely untrue as we haven't received any correspondence. Very disappointed with pearsons and will not be using them again even after being a past tenant years ago at a property.

  Clearly this estate agent have for too many properties to sell at the moment which has surprised me given the market that I am viewing, would have been nice to respond to a valuation request submitted weeks ago, but if this is the service level provided perhaps it was an early warning not to use them for me.....2 other local estate agents responded within 2 hours of my enquiry! I guess the email automated response did say "A member of the team will be in touch with you soon" so the 24th January to now may be acceptable????

  We had a very challenging move and things went far from plan. Pearsons did however chased the sellers and reply to my emails / messages in and out of hours. We did get moved in and are very happy.
