Absolutely appalling!! They got rid of me after one day without a proper reason given. I turned up early to my shift. I was polite and courteous and I did everything I was asked to do. I showed more than adequate application and interest in the role. I have all the skills and experience required. When I left my shift I passed everybody in the office. The man I had been working with all day was there and the site manager. All they said was basically how did it go so I said it went well. Then they said see you tomorrow and mentioned where I should park my car on an ongoing basis. I went home and twenty minutes after my shift finished I received a phone call. It was the agent telling me they had had an email saying Peakdale don't want me to return the next day. They told the agent that I wasn't suitable and gave absolutely no reason why. Nobody had spoken to me about any issues during the day. Nobody had the decency or to tell me the situation as I passed in the office to say goodbye. Don't work for or deal with this unscrupulous cowboy operation!!!
