Never got to try the place. Went in to get a snack. The old lady at reception was really rude. Made us wait 15 mins to get the table ready. And kept pushing that we need to order. When we said we need tea, she refused very rudely saying this is a restaurant. So much for working in the hospitality industry

A fabulous and evidently very popular restaurant in Llanberis. The food is simply done, and to a high standard (who needs esoteric ingredients when your chef can showcase the best of Welsh lamb with a cauliflower puree?). The team there are professional and attentive, and really do the restaurant credit. Most were in their teens but demonstrated a professionalism beyond their years. The food was excellent - a chicken liver pate that was full of flavour but beautifully smooth; steak and ale pie and Welsh lamb that was perfectly cooked; and bread and butter pudding that really hit the spot. The wine list doesn't disappoint either with reasonable restaurant prices.
