Yesterday we went to get our guinea pig cremated they lady there was lovely and asked if we wanted to say our goodbyes in the chapel. When we went to pick up our ashes she greeted us again and gave us the ashes in a lovely box with his name engraved

I recently had my cat cremated here. He came home in a beautifully presented box with a lovely card, fur clipping and paw print (which I requested as extras). I would definitely use this crematorium again. My only slight criticism would be that the lady on the phone would not discuss anything with me directly because the cremation was organised through my vet. Perhaps consider changing that policy? Nevertheless, I’m very pleased with the items I received so thank you very much.

I have used this service three times over a 27 Yr period and must say have always been dealt with care compassion and empathy however my views have dramatically changed , I can only assume this is due to a change in staff . The lady on the telephone was very rude and abrupt. She couldn't accommodate my request and had not a second of her time to empathise with my situation . When asked if she could advise of anywhere else that did cremation she very abruptly replied NO . I have never been spoken to in this manner before and fortunately I have within 10 mins of speaking to this person found a lively service at emworth who was the entire opposite. So if the lady on the phone reads this review she will of gained some knowledge of not only her customer care attitude but if anyone asks again if there is another service she could point them in the direction of Epworth . This service doesn't even deserve 1 star

After making arrangements with the vet I rang pcs repeatedly over a 2 hour period its distressing enough knowing your dogs about to be pts without having to continuously keep ringing trying to arrange the cremation in the end I rang.the head office who transferred me through to a lady full of oh I am too busy with all these jobs to answer the phone .... An appointment was made for the following day when we arrived for the appointment we were left standing outside as no one answered the door ..... again i tried to ring....no one answered so again i had to.ring through to head office when they came to the door we were taken into the the building for a few minutes to choose a casket and were then quickly ushered back outside....no offer of sitting in the chapel with my dog. I said my last goodbye with my dog laid on the mans trolley at the side of my car. I have had 4 pets previously cremated here and always found they were professional and compassionate but standards have slipped it seems. I would go elsewhere in future
