Have been with paymentshield for just under a year for building and contents insurance pay around £30 per month at the moment. Renewal documents come through for the policy now they want upwards of £45 per month!! Have never made a claim not sure how they justify the increase i understand everything going up but near £15.00 a month is a joke!! Had a shop around and in the end went with Aviva for the same price I'm paying now i even got more with the Aviva policy including home emergency cover and legal fees. Rang to say i won't be renewing all of sudden we can do a better price. Top tip give me your best price to start off with and don't try ripping people off when it time for renewal. Any one with payment shield looking to renewal have a shop around.

I pay monthly for insurance cover. I have called to claim, I read my policy and are aware I have the appropriate cover. The man I spoke with was extremely rude and patronising. He wouldn't explain clearly why the claim could not be processed and advised because I have a Sky TV not a 'Samsung' none of the suppliers can process it. ???? what am I paying for if I cannot use my insurance? with an attitude like that shouldn't be working in customer service. Absolutely shocking service. EDIT: I am unable to reply to the below. However, I have NOT received an email nor do I have a missed call. I would like to take this further please can you actually contact me rather then making it look like the issue has been resolved when it has not. Why am i paying monthly for ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE COVER IF I CANNOT USE IT IN THE TIME OF AN ACCIDENT.
