I went to Pawfect Pets to try and curbmy dogs prey drive. He'd take off after deer, rabbits, squirrels etc and was deaf to recall. We signed up to a 6 week course, and from the outset I saw him paying more attention to me. Jess gave us tasks to practice each week, and would give constructive feback on the videos we sent. At the end of the 6 weeks, although not perfect, he's much easier to distract when he senses or sees wildlife. Now not running off nearly as much. In fact over the last 2 weeks he hasn't taken off at all. Although I need to keep practicing with everything we've done, I feel much more confident that I can recall him from tricky situations. We did a hoopers intro workshop in August and had great fun. We did excellent foundation work, and also covered a lot so we got a good feel of how it all fitted together. Jessica was very good at explaining and made sure the training was tailored to each dog. Since then we have continued training with Jess, started competing in hoopers which is brilliant fun, and also achieved IMDB partnership level 6 which I am thrilled about and has strengthened our life skills.
