I adopted a rescue dog with a few challenges - reacting to other dogs, lunging at joggers and cyclists to name just a few. I chose Paw Education because of the reward based training and the mix of 1:1 and group sessions. Almost 3 months later I'm very glad. Kerry and Jo want to help us understand our dog's behaviour and work to make sure he has the best life. Being part of a group of others in similar situations is reassuring and it is great to share successes and learn from setbacks together. I've learnt a great deal about dog psychology, biology and body language. They've helped me to bond with my dog and his behaviour is much improved. Every day is a fun training day.

We’re really glad we went with Paw Education, we have been with them for three months now. Jo and Kerry are both fantastic. They are extremely knowledgeable and have relevant advice and suggestions to any situation. They are seemingly on call 24/7 (via WhatsApp), though we’ve not tested this to the extreme :-). The training is structured as a great mix of a personal tailored programme with enjoyable group sessions that also provide the support network and social aspect you’d hope from a dog training course. When we have struggled with some part of the training, Jo and Kerry always have different ideas to change the approach and find what suits us and our dog.

Enrolled my dog in Paw Education at the beginning of January. I used to google or search for dog training advice but there is so much out there, I would just get lost in different opinions and techniques to help improve my dog’s resource guarding or nervous behaviour. It felt very overwhelming. Jo and Kerry are super friendly, knowledgeable and put my dogs needs first. They have truly changed my own thought process about the expectations I have for my dog - for the better! Along with 2 amazing trainers, what I love about Paw Education is all the optional group sessions that you get access to. From group walks and zoom calls to half day training sessions with other dogs and owners who make you feel reassured that you aren’t alone with the issues you are facing. The 1:1 sessions are great as they focus on the areas you specifically want to improve. Tailored training rather than generic. I see Kerry every week and look forward to each and every session. Kerry never judges you or your dog’s behaviour. She also openly shares her own experiences with her own dog. This makes her very relatable and I never worry about discussing my issues or concerns about Molly (my Spaniel cross Beagle). From the very first phone call with Jo to the ongoing support i’ve received, this cheery, down to earth duo thoroughly deserve 5 out of 5 for their dedication and service.

Kerry & Jo have been working with us and our dear spaniel Lucy for the past 6 months and we don't even want to think of where we'd be if it weren't for them! They've really helped us set Lucy up for a bright & well trained future and we couldn't have achieved this on our own. They've provided us with clear training instructions, showed us how to do it and explained what to take away & how to get Lucy to the next level. From a psychology perspective they've also helped us understand Lucy's needs in a much better way than we did before. Would highly recommend :)

We have a nervous, barky Dachshund who barked pretty much all day and at anything and it got worse after lockdown and we returned to normal life. It was awful to witness his stress and at ten years old, we feared it was too late. However, we are just over halfway through our training and Duke is so much more relaxed and confident. He’s quiet most of the day and we feel like we have the tools to manage most of his behaviours now and really enjoy our time with him.

I am so pleased that I found Jo and Kerry, having always trained my dogs with positive reward and through games I was seeking out for small classes that followed this style of training.
