My back wheel went on my carrerra I went to Halfords they quoted £130 I went here and they replaced the wheel AND the chain for £80 and fixed my brakes that’s a winner in my books (they also gave me a warranty on the back wheel for a year)

Very poor service from Pauls Bikes. Asked for assistance with a project I've been working on. They wilfully agreed to do the work described. 2x days later I receive a call saying that 'it's not something they were interested in doing' and to come a pick it up... When I arrived, they simply said there was 'too much to do; that it would cost a lot and with everything else they've got on, that they weren't interested'. No help, apology, smile or suggestions. I'm trying to utilise local resources, but with experience like this, it makes me question that. Internet 1, High street 0. I will not be returning and suggest others avoid. Such a shame.

So my Epic Carbon frame had a crack on the cross bar. Paul contacted Specialized, they OK'd the warranty and proceeded with the the exchange. I shd add the bike was c8 years old. Specialized proceded to send a number of frames as unfortunately half my components werent compatible anymore.... Paul and his team were brilliant, 'fought' on my behalf to ensure that not only did the replacement frame eventually arrive (the correct one!) But also that they (Specialized) covered the cost for the relevant upgraded parts. Finally, during the challenges that we all face with Covid, Paul still managed to source solutions for other necessary parts. Great service, was kept updated, and finally i have my new Carbon Epic 👍 Thanks again Paul & Team
