Amazing, friendly place that's been under the same family for at least four generations. It's got a great vibe. Honestly, not the very best coffee and sandwich I've ever had, but it's good, surprisingly inexpensive (for some things) friendly (when not busy), and full of character. Beware new staff who don't know what they're doing though. I bought a hot salami sandwich that was actually two presliced bread slices, butter, and a few thin slices of salami for more than 5 quid. I think she forgot the hot and the toppings!

Wow. What a sandwich joint! Egg sandwich with mayo and anchovies is maybe the best egg sandwich I’ve had in my life. The pastrami with Swiss and pickles is also amazing. This is a must try for anyone in London.

I've walked past so many Times. The amount of jams and condiments on display is insane the old school style board is charming and the service is impeccable. Sit in a cute canteen style seating area or join the takeaway queue at lunch that is always there ! So much to choose from
