Really an awful experience; the staff ignored my greeting and were chatting together, ignored me as I approached the till as well. There was no apology or even trying to be pleasant; I felt like they were bothered to be there. The items I wanted were unavailable, despite being on display. I finally settled down for one of the few breads still left. It turned out to be mediocre at best, and not even close to being good value for money. This place need to step it up. Until then I'd definitely recommend to avoid.

Love the hot chocolate and pastries but not this branch of Paul's. Unfriendly server, unsmiling and abrupt. Place needs a good clean and repaint although cafe quaint . Toilet was unusable as lock broken and taped up. Paper on floor and blocked pan. What a shame, other branches are much nicer
