FAQ

What is the signature dish or specialty of your Basque restaurant?

Our signature dish is the traditional Basque stew called Marmitako. It is made with fresh tuna, potatoes, onions, peppers, and tomatoes. We also offer other classic Basque dishes such as pintxos, grilled meats, and seafood.

Do you offer vegetarian or gluten-free options on your menu?

Yes, we offer a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options on our menu. Some popular dishes include the grilled vegetable skewers, mushroom croquettes, and our gluten-free Basque cheesecake for dessert.

How do you ensure the authenticity of Basque cuisine in your restaurant?

We take great pride in our Basque heritage and use traditional recipes and cooking techniques to prepare our dishes. We import many ingredients directly from the Basque Country, such as Idiazabal cheese and Txakoli wine, to ensure the authenticity of our cuisine.

What is the ambiance like in your restaurant, and is it suitable for special occasions?

Our restaurant has a cozy and rustic atmosphere with wooden tables and a brick fireplace. It is perfect for a casual dinner with friends or a romantic date night. We also have a private dining room that can accommodate up to 20 guests for special occasions and events.

Can you recommend any specific Basque wines or drinks to complement the food?

We highly recommend trying the Txakoli wine, which is a light and slightly sparkling white wine that pairs perfectly with seafood and pintxos. For those who prefer red wine, we suggest the Rioja Alavesa, a robust and fruity wine that complements grilled meats and stews. We also offer a variety of Basque ciders and aperitifs such as Patxaran and Kalimotxo.

Here on a Sunday evening, pretty quiet but with an incredible pianist playing classical music - what a great atmosphere. We had the chicken with lemon, outstanding. Whiskey sour and chocolate mousse to finish - other worth a round of applause.

This is now one of my favourite restaurants in London. We went there last night for my birthday dinner and it was absolutely fab. It was a Sunday so they have a slightly different menu to the one during the week and I was sad that I won't get to try the dauphinoise potatoes but they were still able to make them! Our waiter was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. I can't wait to be back
