    Kept waiting far too long while the staff dealt with Deliveroo orders. No wonder such low reviews when they don’t prioritise customers who are present. Tip: have separate staff to deal with online orders. Pastries & coffee were on point though.

    We had two ‘Afternoon Tea’ experiences. Called in the morning to say we were attending and arrived about 1.45. ‘Iona’ a member of staff was outstanding with her pleasant friendly approach, nothing was trouble, she even arranged a baby chino for my granddaughter without us even asking. Fabulous customer service from ‘Iona’ hope they manage to keep her there as I have had some awful experiences previously. Thanks.

    We turned up at 6:30 just for 3 drinks and we were told only take away service was offered with paper cups. When I asked what time they closed, they said 8pm 🤷‍♀️They were cleaning and mopping up and I wasn’t allowed to use the toilet. They obviously had plans to shoot off early from their shift - tut tut girls!!

    Afternoon tea for two on 26/3/2023 dirty table on arrival got coffee after a 15 minute wait no spoon or sugar had to ask then get up and get it myself from the counter. Cakes and scones arrived scones were burnt and hard inside served with blackcurrant jam when I asked for strawberry jam I got told there was none and that jam was seasonal. Manager appeared in filthy leggings and t shirt and was not the slightest bit interested in our experience completely ignored us. This is an horrendous branch of this franchise outlet and I would avoid it at all costs. Toilet and washing facilities were out of order as well so nowhere to wash your hands before eating.Again terrible branch and a waste of an afternoon.
