I was at the Greenwich urban festival & decided as a veggie pasta was a safe option. I went for the mushroom and truffle ravioli, how I wished I hadn't. Having seen other people get their. bowls filled right to the top there was just a bowl full left but the server decided not to fill mine with the rest and tried to leave a few at the bottom, who was going to be able to eat that anyway, I then asked for more sauce and she then piled loads more on so it was swimming in it, I was then charged £9.50 instead of £9 which was advertised, I raised it with her so she asked me of I wanted more instead of offering more, she wasn't very friendly at all. As soon as I started eating it I could taste stale butter, I can't imagine there was truffle oil. They can respond with whatever they like it was so stale buttery tasting it made me feel sick, I had to throw it away. I wish I had gone back to complain but the attitude made me think I would get nowhere. I am on a low income but was hungry and wanted to support small business, £10 for me can buy a bag of shopping instead I am hoping this stale food won't give me a bad stomach later and they should have been refilling fresh pasta instead of leaving it for hours down to the dregs. It said FRESH, it wasn't. Avoid at festivals

If you are thinking of having Pasta e Basta cater for your wedding, stop thinking and book! As soon as we went to try the pasta at the Parliament Hill farmers market, we knew they would be perfect! Fabrizio and the team made the most brilliant pescatarian menu - and everything was exceptional! Fabrizio was so helpful through the whole process and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect meal on the day - thank you so so much!

Sam & I love pasta, so naturally there was no question when we discussed what we might eat on our wedding day. We found Pasta E Basta on Instagram and as soon as we spoke with Fabrizio we knew they would be perfect. Fabrizio went out of his way through the whole process from all communication and having us try the pasta at one of his markets to choosing our menus and making sure our guests with dietary requirements were catered for too. On the day the meal was better than we could have hoped! The antipasti boards were a particular highlight and we couldn’t have had better compliments from all our guests! Thank you again guys! We’ll definitely be back for more at your markets soon!!

We would highly recommend Pasta e Basta for any event you might have. We had them cater a family event in May to celebrate the birth of our son, and Fabrizio was fantastic. The food was beautiful everyone loved it, and he was a pleasure to work with. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Paste e Basta catered my wedding and WOW they blew me and all of our guests away with their incredible food. It's been a month and I'm still thinking about it. The homemade pastas, little appetizer bites, and the tiramisu were all incredible. Fabrizio was so kind to work with and tailored our menu to our desires and allergies...then made everything both beautiful and taste amazing. It was truly spectacular and special. If you want Italian food for your wedding, you absolutely should hire Pasta e Basta! I can't thank them enough for such a perfect meal.
