Well organised during these covid times. Bailiffed well, makes sure nets mats etc dipped, card payment and sign in so nothing transferred. Fishing not bad also. Still a good place to go fishing. Not a chuck and chance place, you need to put some thought into your fishing. Good rigs I the right place. Dan or nick the bailiffs are very helpful. Les Browm and myself have been regularly fishing here once a week since last post above some two years ago. Nothing has changed, Dan and Nick the bailiffs are friendly and an asset to passies pond. As far as fishing goes our average catch is around 12 fish between us, Sometimes up to 24 fish and occasionally just a few. We've had some good fish but the best fish as far as the pond is concerned are the many 5lb mirrors and commons we've caught. These small fish have perfect mouths, the mirrors fat, deep and have high shoulders, the commons are deep and have narrow tail wrists. These fish we are told must have been the result of spawning, the shape suggesting they will become large fish.

Went there today with my son aged 9. We’ve never fished before but Dan and Dave were so friendly and knowledgeable! They totally sorted us out and my son caught 2 little roach which he was delighted with. Lovely place we will be back!

Nice lake and has all usual rules that you'd expect etc.. clean and tidy with toilets (with paper!) Some swims can be a bit hit or miss but generally an ok place to come if you want to catch something (even if it ends up being a bream!) Bailiffs are cool and run it well, cafe onsite for decent bacon rolls and drinks at set times, the only criticism is that as relatively frequent anglers of Passies over past few years more recently my hubby and I have encountered people that havent learned basic etiquette (or just in general some manners) and fish care that you'd expect at any lake with other fellow anglers going about their business as usual it has ruined a few trips down here.. a first of any other lake I've visited but unfortunately out of the bailiffs control. Would still say its good place to come as majority are fine :)

Had a match there recently and unfortunately the venue is a bit neglected and needs a lot of the far bank cutting back and weed removed hopefully they do this and return the place into one of the best match venues in the south 👍 then 5stars would be given
