Suzanne is an absolutely wonderful instructor - patient, kind and calm. I never thought I would be able to drive, after several false starts with teachers that I didn’t gel with, but under Suzanne’s teaching I’ve finally done it! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn automatic ⭐️

I cannot recommend Suzanne enough, I was terrified to drive but my circumstances changed which made not driving restrictive for our family. I managed to get in pretty quickly due to a cancellation and started my lessons on November 2022, and I instantly felt calm and comfortable with Suzanne teaching me and it became such a highlight for my week, and I became so much more confident in my ability to drive and I genuinely started enjoying it. My circumstances changed substantially which made my driving even more important for our family, I managed to pass my theory test on 27th February (second time) and then I managed to get a very quick cancellation appointment for my driving test on 2nd march which was just amazing luck, and Suzanne was just amazing, dropped everything to get me to that test and supported me prior and was genuinely so happy for me when I passed. I cannot thank you enough, and I also cannot recommend her enough, to anyone who is waiting to have lessons with her or wanting to make contact you’re in absolute safe hands. After 13 lessons she had me confidently driving and able to pass 1st time. Thank you again!

Suzanne comes highly recommended. She is a patient and encouraging driving instructor, explaining how to improve each time and does this at your own pace so you can be a confident driver. I needed to learn how to drive for work quickly. I had tried to learn how to drive a Manual car but I am deaf and couldn't hear the biting point easily which was frustrating. After a friend pointed out that automatic cars are becoming more popular due to the shift towards hybrid and electric cars', I decided to switch to learning on automatic cars. Once I started with Suzanne, I was pleasantly surprised how fast I was picking up how to drive on automatics and what I found difficult with certain manoeuvres like hill starts was no longer an issue. The two hour lessons really helped to embed and practice techniques such as parallel parking and also made the lessons enjoyable as the lessons were not rushed or pressurised. Suzanne's experience and calmness was a huge help and I always looked forward to the lessons. Within 6 months, I passed first time with two minor faults. I wish I had switched to learning on automatic cars much earlier as they are a pleasure to drive! Learning to drive can be nerve wracking but honestly, Suzanne is the right person to train you on an automatic and I would happily recommend her to anyone.

I passed my test today and it was all thanks Suzanne! I first had lessons 17 years ago and struggled with my nerves, failed 2 tests and gave up. Tried again around 3 years ago and didn't feel like I was progressing so again gave up. I decided to give it one last try (after 4 different instructors and 2 failed tests) and at the end of last year and came across Suzanne. She is LITERALLY A MIRACLE WORKER! I cannot believe she has got me to the point where I can not only pass a driving test but do so with flying colours. I simply cannot recommend her enough, she is kind, patient, knowledgeable and does everything she can to help. She is absolutely AMAZING.

I first got speaking to Zan about potentially learning to drive in March 2020 but at the time she was teaching manual I wanted to learn automatic. I was keen not to put myself under pressure by setting a timescale to drive and wanted a slow and steady introduction to driving. I wasn’t overly confident and didn’t think I’d ever be able to pass my test, I was unable to learn at 17 when all my friends were learning due to a poorly controlled medical condition, however as I’ve got older and some twenty years later I was eligible to apply for a provisional. I was nervous and low on confidence and I’d truth be told whilst I knew deep down I wanted to do it, I was scared to admit it to others as I was frightened of failing. In September 2021 I heard that she was now offering automatic lessons, I booked a few lessons (which I said was a ‘trial’). I was clear to Zan in the early days that I had no intention of passing any test, I just wanted to see what it was all about. In the November of 2021 I passed my theory first time which then meant the only thing between me and passing a driving test was… me. I passed first time in July 2022… less than ten months after sitting in the drivers seat for the first time and that included a 6 week break in March when I had to take a break. The numbers don’t lie- ten months, first time theory pass, first time test pass… all under Zan’s supervision and instruction. Zan was just what I needed to get me through this, she was honest, direct, said it as it was (as requested by me!), she was patient, understanding and listened to me. There is nobody more tough on me than myself and often she would remind me of how far we had come since my very first few lessons where leaving my street was a major achievement for me, driving 12mph and shaking and feeling incredibly anxious. I seriously considered cancelling the test in July but she encouraged me to back myself, she offered whatever help I needed and was always accommodating. I feel I should also say how trustworthy and reliable Zan is, it shouldn’t be but sadly through experience of family and friends it clearly is, not uncommon for some driving instructors to let students down, double book appointments and prioritise other students. Zan never ever let me down, she never once cancelled an arranged lesson. There were times where we worked together to meet needs that suited the pair of us but she was always accommodating and understanding of health issues, family emergencies and my work commitments and I never missed a lesson when I wanted one. I would recommend Zan to anyone learning, be that 17 year olds or those older who just want to ‘give it a go’. Thank you so much Zan, you’ve given me more than I could ever give in return… even if that means I’m no longer exempt from doing the school run and going shopping.

I have had 3 other driving instructors and never passed with them, but with Suzanne I felt really confident. Other driving instructors are often a bit intolerant of driving anxiety but Suzanne really put me at ease. She knows how to explain things in different ways so that you can understand them and she is really kind, so you feel you can trust her. She is really professional. I would 100% recommend her to anyone serious about learning to drive.
