    Truly awful agency to deal with. I had to make a last minute trip with my partner to visit a sick relative and ended up booking accommodation managed by Pass The Property. After a 4 hour drive we arrived at 1am to discover the key wouldn't turn in the door and their 'out of hours' service went straight to voicemail so we were effectively left stranded, desperately trying to book alternative accommodation. The next day I was told that they would need a video from us to prove the door doesn't open. And since we still needed a place for family to stay I was forced to leave my partner as she said goodbye to her dying mother and make the 1 hour round trip to film myself trying to turn the key in the lock. Initially they accepted this video as adequate proof, but after failing to arrange a locksmith, they simply told me that they couldn't assist further and that I should cancel the reservation in order to receive a refund. However, seeing that they had a no-refund policy for guest cancellations I requested that they cancel at their end. This sparked a back and forth as they said that their cleaners were able to get access no problem. They now regarded the issue as 'user error'... The bottom line here is two people spent over an hour on two separate occasions trying to get into the property and were unsuccessful. If there is a knack to opening the door that we were unaware of then this should have been outlined in the welcome pack or made clear to us when we made contact. If I'd forced the door and key any harder, one or the other would have broken and then I'd be having a very different conversation with their agents. We now find ourselves in the middle of arranging a funeral and being told that the owner doesn't want to give us a refund. The greediness and lack of decency is actually staggering. As if the grief wasn't enough, their lack of assistance and accountability have made a really terrible experience that much more trying.

    I just wanted to share one of the worst experience I ever had with Pass the Property. I stayed in one of the properties located in Peckover street, Bradford, UK for almost 2 weeks between 17-30 March and what followed was apparently a SCAM. Initially I was requested to make an upfront security deposit of £175 which they mentioned will be refunded in 2 days post your check out. However, when I called and asked pass the property for refund they claimed there were some damages reported by the cleaners and they will repair the items and share the remaining amount. I kept insisting to investigate the damages as these were not done by me as these were already there when I checked in. Except one damage wherein the bedsheet was made dirty which for some reason the cleaner claimed that the stains (Icecream) cannot be washed off. (Ironically, these are the same cleaners who claimed they changed the bulbs when I reported lack of light in the bathroom whereas nobody showed up and they closed the ticket with some wrong pictures. This false claim was also accepted by the PASS THE PROPERTY that the cleaner lied earlier). Eventually, they charged me £120 for those damages which I haven't done. Since I did not take pictures when I checked in, the blame came on me which disappointed me bigtime. One thing is for sure, I will never engage with Pass the property in the future as there is no hearing for the customers. I would like to request you all to take pictures/videos as soon as you get in to Pass the property apartments, as they may blame you for any damages observed post your check out.

    I do not like giving bad reviews but this is really sad. We Booked an apartment through Booking in York, we arrived to a dirty apartment and had to clean it our self. Pass the property seemed really dismissive and until we expressed our concern that they didn’t seem bothered we’d spent over £300 to arrive to an unclean apartment, they was rude. Really uncooperative and haven’t helped us get our money back at all. Arriving to what should be a relaxing holiday and having to go out to buy cleaning products, to sweep, hoover and mop as well as change all the bedding and disinfect the entire place is not how you expect to start your vacation. Utterly appalled and will never be dealing with this company again.
