We just stayed Murton Grange Holiday cottages which was excellent the manager was friendly and helpfull nothing was too much trouble. The disabled facilities were perfect for our needs and the cottage was well equiped and very clean. I would highly recommend these cottages and if I was in the York area again I would book this cottage again.

We booked cottage 6 & 7 for my friends hendo & it did not disappoint. It was perfect for a girly weekend away and the cottages were lovely (a lot better than pictures). The hot tub was perfect for a nice relax & the beds were nice & comfy. Perfect location for going out into the centre of York (about 10 min drive). I will definitely be returning.

We booked the BBQ option and transport through Villa farm. The food was delicious and plenty of it in terms of sides, salads and desserts for large group of gentlemen. I would recommend bringing plastic plates and cutlery to avoid the washing up though. The transport was great too, turned up on time and were reasonably priced too.

I didn’t actually stay at the cottages as I live in Australia, I organised the hen party stay for my sister and 12 friends/ family members, and on behalf of them I would like to thank you for a wonderful stay. all I have heard is good things about the stay, they said the staff were so accomodating and the cottages were beautiful and in a great location. Running up to the stay the staff I emailed were ever so helpful in helping me organise things even down to mini bus booking and take away recommendations. Thank you so much, when I am back in the Uk in November we will certainly be looking at booking a stay at the cottages.
