We have received a part from Qualtex (has many other names partcentre is one of them) which was faulty and a customer returned it to us. We have contacted Lee Tustin regarding returning it. He has stated in his email (please take a look at the attached screenshot) that on our account Qualtex dont accept returns and if you have to accept returns then our prices need to increase. I have previously been contacting Stephane (who was incharge of our account before) regarding returns and faulty items and he has processed them so I know this is a load of rubbish!! WHAT HE HAS STATED IN THIS EMAIL IS AGAINST THE LAW! Plus if these blackmailing tactics are actually a part of Qualtex's business policy then I think it all needs to come out in the open as it is totally wrong. Why is the customer being punished (by increasing their prices) for receiving a part that he purchased from Qualtex and turns out to be faulty (no fault of the customer) and wants to return? (which is well within their rights as per law 12 months return is standard for faulty goods). Also the fact that the amount we spend with this company compared to minimal what we return, this is ridicolous! I have noticed Lee has increased our prices now because we want to return the item. This is not the first time he has done this as this was also done back in March 2022 under same circumstances. This is how Lee behaves whenever you inform him an item needs to be returned because it is faulty. We will be posting this post on all social media and getting others to share this on theres as for some reason Lee thinks he can do whatever he wishes with no repercussions. We will also be contacting their suppliers and those who regulate them to show their business practice.
