The most expensive caravan site in the Whitby area for both touring and seasonal by far, seasonal pitches are nothing short of a rip off, think its all about the money with this oddball dysfunctional family, ask the regulars for the family history,/// This guy needs to practice what he preachers, I,m afraid the apple does not fall far from the tree, Just so people know what type of a person were dealing with here,, , Since posting my review the owner phoned my wife with threats if l did not remove the review,, the man is a Liar and a Bully, my best advice is to give him a wide berth,. He as more faces than the town hall clock,, keeps changing his response, this is the third one so far, accusing me of stealing now can you believe , looking forward to what he comes up with next,.

Just returned from a 3 night break and have to say we found it fantastic, a lovely welcome from the lady on reception whome showed us to our pitch and briefed us well, the facilities were exceptional, paddock to take the dogs to was great,felt safe and secure on site even though we were pitched close to the entrance ( plot T1 )location was beautiful, easy access to Whitby, short walk to the beautiful beach, few remarks on hear about being a high price we don't agree, get what you pay for, already looking to re-book later in the year.

Stayed here 18m ago, and tbh hasn't disappointed. Clean site with good size pitches. Great location with amazing staff and excellent amenities & stunning views. There are two bus stops at the entrance, one for each direction. Within easy walking distance of the beach (10mins), Sandsend (15-20mins) which has a pub, and a number of other eateries & shops and Whitby (25-30mins). Would highly recommend.

We never got to visit as we had a sudden emergency where a member of our family was hospitalised and resulted in further serious complications. We had planned to stay here on a trip north. We had to cancel at very short notice, appreciate what the contents of the terms and conditions are, but we were not asking for the money back,simply the possibility of credit or transfer of booking to a future date. This site was one of a number we had to contact explaining the extenuating circumstances. The others, have been magnificent. Clearly consideration and compassion do not rate highly on your points for customers. I have given one star,simply for location and most certainly not for staff helpfulness and attitude

On our way to the Sandfield, Whitby site our motorhome broke down and was completely out of action. I informed the site reception straight away that we were unable to travel and asked if we could arrange another date to visit in the future. The answer was NO. I’m sure our pitch would easily be re-let as it is a popular area and was pretty full everywhere at that time. I felt that in the circumstances a gesture of goodwill in any small way would have been welcome but there was none and we lost our money as we had paid in full. I shall NOT be re-booking Nearby activities: Beach
