I would like to commend the Spanish nurse from the Canaries and the senior nurse/doctor on duty with her. I came with an infected wound which they diagnosed and treated with great care. Great expertise and they also take their time for you!

The nurse with the short red hair was incredibly rude to me and undermined my health conditions. There was also no sense of que. people who walked in after me went before me.

The coldest rudest staff. Receptionist was cold and unpleasant. Nurse was snappy and passive aggressive. Avoid.

The nurse practitioner, Jo, saved my life. I was in London as part of a world trip and wanted assistance for some back and neck pain. Jo did a thorough check and informed me that almost no air was getting into one of my lungs. She assisted me to get an urgent GP appointment and x-ray and within only a few hours I was in hospital. The eventual diagnosis was stage 4 lung cancer and I am now back in Australia receiving treatment. I cannott thank Jo and the NHS enough for the thorough, compassionate, and professional service.

Ive wait with my daughter 4 h , asking how long will take , every time I been told : you are the next! The Gp advice us to come here that’s how they don’t have an emergency appointment for today, my daughter has a strong virus, which need antibiotics, same as my other daughter had. We come with cough, fever , headache, lower back pain…… and I get antibiotic for urinary infection!!!!!!! So disappointed! That’s the only thing they diagnosed…. Ahhh they don’t know why she is having high fever !!!!

I wouldn’t bother. Greeted with a sign that walk in centre was full, and instead you would be triaged and seen if emergency. Receptionist just says they are full and that I should go. I point out to the receptionist who would therefore do the triage and judge what is an emergency, as their sign says. She looked confused and only started complaining to her colleagues. Zero interest or engagement - I get it not the easiest job, but it’s not the fault of the patients. Clearly their signs need sorting, plus reception staff to be retrained in customer relations. Getting the first interaction right makes a big difference at any public service.

I've been a regular patient to this walk in center for years. My experience is always the same, well treated, well diagnosed by a group of nurses who are always nice and willing to help.
