Pretty poor all round. Food so so and service not much better. Made us wait 30m to order. Our burger appeared reheated on return after asking for it not to arrive with our starters. Tough and rather tasteless.

Lovely and quiet location. The pub is not dog friendly. We couldn't get a table neither inside nor in the back garden, hence we had a quick pint just outside the pub. I hope this policy is reconsidered as we and our friends were willing to dine-in. The beer selection is ok.

You want to impress visiting friends, go for a drink here as it's an OLD pub with a good menu and a nice garden. Woe betide ye if you try to just wander in on a Sunday though; those tables will be booked. They should probably have more tables, or less booking.
