FAQ
What is your school's academic performance record compared to traditional public schools?
At Parkwood Academy, we are proud of our academic performance that consistently exceeds the national average. Our students achieve excellent results in both national and international exams, and our alumni have been accepted into some of the top universities in the world. How does your school address and handle disciplinary issues?
We have a rigorous disciplinary policy in place to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment for all students. Our approach is to promote positive behavior through rewards and recognition, but we also have clear consequences for any violations of our code of conduct. We work closely with parents and students to address any issues that arise and to find solutions that benefit everyone involved. What is the student-to-teacher ratio at your nursery school?
Our nursery school has a low student-to-teacher ratio, with a maximum of 15 children per class and two qualified teachers per classroom. This ensures that each child receives individual attention and support to develop their cognitive, social, and emotional skills. Can you provide information on your curriculum and teaching philosophy?
Our curriculum is based on the UK National Curriculum and is designed to provide a broad and balanced education that prepares students for success in further education and beyond. We also incorporate elements of international curricula to provide a global perspective and promote cultural awareness. Our teaching philosophy is student-centered, with an emphasis on inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving.What is the daily schedule like for students at your nursery school?
Our nursery school follows a structured daily schedule that includes a variety of activities to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development. This includes playtime, circle time, storytime, art and craft activities, music and movement, outdoor play, and nap time for younger children. We also provide nutritious snacks and meals throughout the day.Reviews

Excellent staff as they are kind and listen to you and son and have a good understanding your situation, except for class teacher who was a very very nice person and teacher but had no clue about our circumstances and told child on father's day to write a flattering card to dad whom we had fled from on how he is the world's greatest dad and is his superhero soon after we had served him court order for non molestation on behalf of child. I think they should be careful as domestic volence is very very common at least 30 to 40 percent families in UK and even more in families from other countries with a lot of single mums, when it comes to Father's day.

School was kind of great but I wouldn't have been ready for secondary school or achieving high grades in secondary if it wasn't for Miss Natasha Norcott. She helped me so much,so if it wasn't for her putting me in place I don't know where I'd be right now, probably falling everything in school. So thanks to Miss Natasha Norcott for helping me get ready for secondary.

This school doesn't deal with bulling issues and is more concerned about making money than the best way to help all students learn
