It strikes me that this firm is not as independent as one imaging. Will challenge the environment issues but not other breach of human rights against the authority. I feel they prioritise profit before human rights. Which is rightly so, they are in the business for making money not to make you money! Find a different firm of solicitors. This was, in fact, their recommendation.

Just called Leigh Day for potential assistance in a medical negligence case. Spoke to someone who takes initial enquiries. She asked that I tell her my problem, and she may make further questions along the way - absolutely fine. I opened with "For background, I have a mental health problem" - as it is a crucial part of understanding the reason my case has come about, she cut me off dead and said "Let me stop you there, we have no expertise in mental health problems and can't help you" This made me feel quite stupid, despite knowing that my case pertains to surgical negligence and I was merely giving her a sentence worth of background. She had assumed as I had mentioned I had a mental health problem, my claim was therefore psychiatric, fairly misguided of her. I explained this and she sounded disinterested and didn't apologise. I then tried to continue explaining, but felt quite thrown and said so, and I said "actually don't worry, I'm not sure I want to continue after that" there was no encouragement or support for me to feel able to trust them/continue, she just said "OK then". Won't be calling back another day, as I had left a message over 4 working days ago with no response. This was my second attempt. I obviously cannot comment on their legal work, but I have to say their initial enquiry line/welcome needs some work.

Absolute awful company representing Hamish Dewar vs Jeremy Clarkson in his noble attempt to modernise farming. NIMBYS. Would rate 0 stars if possible.

In relation to my cycling collision, Leigh Day time wasted and did not request basic evidence resulting in reaching the 3yr time window and reaching a poorly thought through conclusion, also not allowing me to seek alternative representation dur to time bar. Oh and they only told me about the 3yr time limit with <3months to go until it was reached. I was also passed between paralegals with no handover during the course of the last 3 years. Conclusion: not cycling specialists, do not communicate even important information, time waste, do not value individual's claims.
