Stay away!!! Had been sent to the practice on a referral program. Then only to be told by pharmacy that they could not order my prescriptions as I have been wiped off the surgery. I’m calling the surgery about the concern about my prescriptions. I was told you need to look for another surgery and I will deal with your problem. I don’t see this place helpful at all and would recommend anybody not to sign up to this practice.

Disgusting and appalling service from reception staff and the call handlers for appointments. They are narcissistic little bullies. They speak to you as we're dumb, they bully you to attend the walk in centre because all the GP appointments are taken within 15 minutes of there surgery opening time. This surgery including the whole Health & Beyond is DISGRACEFUL.... THIS IS WHAT OUR NHS HAS COME TO... ABSOLUTE JOKE!!

Went to Parkfield Surgery. Only 2 people waiting to see the GP's. So why do we have to wait nearly a month for an appointment? All the receptionists were talking. No pressure whatsoever. They didn't look overworked to me. This Medical Centre doesn't even deserve one star. My normal doctors is at Woodcross Clinic or Parkfield so why do they send me all over the place to other doctors? We can't tell what some of the receptionists & doctors are saying, they don't speak fluent English. This place has gone downhill since Health & Beyond took over. They are appalling.

Horrific service from the reception staff. Refuse to make appointments unless you call constantly from 8 in the morning, half the time they don't bother to answer and the rest they tell you they don't have any appointments and to ring again the next day. The ONLY way to get an appointment is by telling them that without one you will kill yourself and then they magically reveal that they've got LOADS of appointment slots. When you go in no-one is ever there, obviously because they refuse to make appointments. The doctors are kind and understanding but will still prescribe medications such as Propanolol to people with severe asthma unless YOU know that it is life threatening.

I used to highly rate this practice but something has gone seriously wrong in the last few years. The reason most negative reviews are to do with their phone system is because it truly is abysmal. The worst one I have ever come across. If you get through fairly quickly it feels like a fluke. Typically call wait times are around 45 minutes. The other day I rang and was told I was number 5 in the queue. It took over 20 minutes to move to number 4. I've found the staff to be friendly enough once you are in the practice. It's getting into the practice that is the problem. As others have said the practice is in serious need of a overhaul.

Have to book appointments at 8am according to receptionist however whenever you do they haven't even turned on the phone lines 🤦♀️When do get appointments they often make mistakes. Lost my medical notes for 6 months so wouldn't allow me to get my controlled medication, kept sending me to a and e and never sorted it out until I made a complaint then magically my notes were found. Didn't know basic info on contraceptives that have been standard in NHS for years now (that many combo pills can be taken continuously without a break now) and issued completely the wrong recommended min dose of antidepressant

Why is it when you call the surgery you are always 30th in the queue? I just don’t get it. Why do these people not pick up the phone when you call? This has to be the worst surgery I have ever come across. You could literally be dying and then still no one picks up the phone. I just don’t get it. Looking at all the reviews an outside agency needs to come and do a review on this surgery as something is not right.
