Nice hotel on a central location. Quick check in, lovely air con'd room and nice super king bed and river view. Only slight downside is we stayed a Saturday night and York is rather lively until the early hours of Sunday morning and unfortunately the hotel room wasn't soundproof which slightly disturbed our sleep.

Had a two night stay here, nice clean hotel with pleasant staff. Great location, central to all that York has to offer. Nice breakfast, cereals, pastries, fresh fruit & cooked breakfast (only negative was no tomatoes or mushrooms). Car park underneath the hotel, £18 per day , but that's the norm in York. I wish we had booked a river view room because our room on the opposite side could be overlooked by nearby offices.

Great hotel in a superb location right in the heart of the city, sits by the lovely river. Car parking 🅿️ is first come first served priced at £17.50 per day as when we stayed in May 2023. Good bar and nice restaurant, bedroom was nice, everything you need for a city break at a reasonable price and in a great location.

Rooms: Lovely well maintained, clean rooms, best views are over the River Ouse/York Minster. Nearby activities: Everything in walkable distance, as long as you are able. Safety: Felt safe walking around day & night. Walkability: Great walkability round York as long as you've no leg issues. Food & drinks: Breakfast has a good choice of foods/drinks. Didn't eat in the evening but prices are reasonable. Bar service/attendance could be a bit smarter.

I could stay here again. Comfortable, clean and great location. Limited on site parking but they have a discount for the NCP place round the corner. Handy if you were on the train too as only a short walk from the station and right on the river. Food & drinks: Drinks in bar adequate. Pubs and bars close by look much more interesting

We stayed over the Coronation weekend to attend a function at the hotel. The service we had was excellent. We were able to check in early as our room was ready, room was clean and even though a little small there was enough space for our things. It's ideal as you can only go higher than the first floor is by using your room key. The only thing that could have been improved was information on where breakfast was, could do with a sign
