Iam nhs myself, previously been in hospital with a head injury. Needed to see gp with ongoing symptoms. Can't book a suitable non emergency appointment. Using covid still as an excuse when the government says that gp appointments should be available now. Very disappointed. I will be taking this further. Been at thus practice for over 35 years.

I have been trying to see a doctor here face to face for months. I was first sent to a pharmacy who told me they couldn’t deal with me as it was a complaint by my eyes and he didn’t know why they had sent me there. I then waited all day for a phone call only to receive one late into the evening from an out of hours doctor. He did not sort the problem. I was told to see a face to face doctor I would need to get there on the day to book an appointment. I tried this this morning. There was a massive queue by 8am. The older gentleman in front of me was told he could not have an appointment. I asked if I was working how would I ever see a doctor. The receptionist couldn’t tell me. This is a joke of a surgery. I am waiting for a phone call from a nurse. I am also ringing round other surgeries to see if they have space. Had enough.

Always refuse to see my family in person, Getting prescribed random treatments for their assumptions over the phone rather than getting examined. Its a dangerous way to run things.
