The good: Attentive and happy staff, music was good and the theme is really well done Less good: It's not big - if you're a reasonable skater already you'll get bored/dizzy after a few laps. Either the floor is sticky or the loaner skates have suuuper soft wheels, it's not an easy combination to get used to. The site says lockers available but doesn't say a padlock to secure one is £3.

Fantastic! Visited Friday evening and was not dissapointed. The staff were helpful and provided great service ( especially the bartender. ) If you are new to skating, there is a member of staff who will help you on the rink. I would keep in mind that this rink is on the smaller side. Upon our visit, there were a lot of inexperienced skaters that would clog up the thinner parts of the rink. Overall however, a very enjoyable experience! I would visit here again ; pizza was fantastic also!

Two stars because staff really do have that much of an impact and in this case they have lost this establishment the extra three stars. The concept as a whole is really cool, but just did not feel any welcoming or positive vibes from any of the staff. I understand that no one really wants to be at work on a Friday evening but if you work in hospitality then you should have a better attitude. Really enjoyed the skating but would never return simply due to the vibe that the staff created.

Absolutely shocking. Was approved a refund as I couldn’t attend and had to travel back home as I’m not from Manchester. Nearly 2 months later I’m still waiting for my refund. I’ve sent multiple emails & messages on social media. Personally I wouldn’t even bother going here especially if you needed to contact them regarding an incident etc because they couldn’t care less.

The staff were really nice and explained everything well, the set up and look of the place is really nice the only thing is it's quite a small area to actually skate it so you spend alot of time trying not to bump into eachother- it looks much bigger online!

Went here recently and it had some good points. Floor is nice to skate on and the lights etc are cool. Really frustrating as a more experienced skater however as the rink itself is very small and there was no effort to get skaters to adhere to beginners in the middle and people who could skate on the outside. I would be far more likely to come back here if the skate marshals made sure that people stuck to this rule. It was pretty stressful trying not to get taken out by or trip over beginners that were smashing into the walls on the outside and falling right in front of you. Also the entire session was in the same direction, should swap halfway through.

Don't know of anywhere else like it in Manchester or Cheshire. Music was good, upbeat and up to date dance music, so they must have taken a previous review on board...Two things stopped me from giving it 5 stars. Firstly I had to pay £3 for a child size locker and safety lock. As an adult I could barely fit my bag and coat into it. I expected the £3 would be a deposit for the safety lock and you would get your £3 back at the end of your session when you handed the lock back. That wasn't the case. They keep your £3 which was a rip off. Other places such as leisure centres with four times the size of this locker charge £1 and you get it back. The other thing is it was a shame the skate park wasn't bigger and a longer skate round. I had 2 women in front of me who were skating and chatting side by side which shouldn't have been a problem but it was, because it was difficult to squeeze past them.

Absolutely love this place - the team are so friendly and welcoming and very supportive when you are first learning to skate. Have been going regularly for a few months now - it’s fantastic that we have a wonderful independent rink run by such a dedicated and just generally lovely team in Manchester. This is my happy place. Thanks to their welcome, support and patience, we can now confidently go to skate parks or outdoor skate meets with the skills we learned at paradise. It’s a small team working to make this a success and I hope the skating community understands how important it is we support them given the recent closure of another rink in Manchester!

I absolutely love this place! My friend and I come quite regularly and have always been made to feel very welcome. The team are the nicest people you'll ever meet. We've only been skating for just over 6 weeks (definitely a midlife crisis) and this is our favourite practice ground. The people make the vibe and we just can't get enough! ❤️❤️❤️
