Feb 2023 - unfortunately lowering my review from 5* to 4* to 3*. So disappointed. The refurb looks nice. However they’ve taken the prawns out of the prawn & calamari stater, which was my favourite. Portion therefore felt less generous. Understand seafood prices must be high, but they could’ve dressed it up with some salad or something for £12. The batter was too pale, but nice mayo. The bruschetta trio was fine. Shared a pizza… I see now on the menu they’ve removed the “wood fired, freshly made dough.. etc” from the description. Really underwhelmed, no bubbles or char like last time. Why get rid of the pizza oven? The pizza was “prosciutto” which ended up being slices of regular ham, rather than Italian prosciutto. Flavour-wise it was like a kids pizza. Nothing to balance the flavours just salty ham. Some rocket would’ve gone a long way. They didn’t have any tenderstem broccoli, so I asked for an alternative. Overcooked, oily and too salty. The roast potatoes were nice but again too salty. The wine was the best part of the meal. Service as usual very attentive, but the restaurant was fairly empty at the time. I came back for the battered prawns and wood fired pizza, but both are gone now. I really want to support local restaurants, so will probably come back, but really let down. June 2022 - didn’t have as good of an experience as last time. Starters of tempura prawns and calamari and bruschetta were nice, the bruschetta was a little oily and could’ve had more salt. For our mains my partner got served the wrong pasta dish, however it was fixed quickly enough. I ordered the fillet steak and was disappointed. They forgot to season the steak, so it was tasteless. I had to season with salt and pepper myself. It was the thinnest fillet steak I’ve ever eaten - when it was served to me it came with a comment saying it was “like a pancake today”. I based my choice off of the picture they have on google maps for the steak, it was nothing like it. I asked for medium rare, for me it was medium. The garlic butter was very chunky. Fries needed seasoning and the broccoli was overcooked. It was a hot day, so maybe they got flustered in the kitchen? Jan 2022 - visited for my birthday it was flawless. The tempura prawns and calamari were perfectly cooked, lovely mayos. Pizza was lovely, dough was bubbly with nice char from the pizza oven, salami and olives perfect toppings.

Cod was rare when questioned the owner he said its normal to have pink cod😕 food was salty. Asked for chilly but owner wasn't happy😂not worth it. Just go to Bibis!

Had a very good lunch with friends. Food was great, but a little disappointed to be given pasta shells rather than orecchiette, which are chewier and I just like them. Extra portion of arancini arrived by mistake but was not charged - a welcome gift! So, food is great, service is cheerful if a little haphazard and it's good to see a new Italian in the area which gives the established outfits more than a run for their money. This place deserves to succeed.

We are strictly vegetarian and don’t eat onion or garlic, they were very accommodating and the food was excellent. Staff were very polite and have a nice atmosphere and would recommend the restaurant to vegetarians. The dessert Sicilia Lemon Cannoli. was the best one I have tasted 😋 Vegetarian options: Made the dishes to our requirements.

Best Italian food in Leeds. As an Italian living abroad I always seek for authenticity in Italian restaurants... eating at Panzerotto felt like eating in one of the restaurants in my hometown. The quality of the ingredients is unquestionable, and the food is simply delicious. Will happily come back!!
