Contacted via email to enquire about hiring equipment. Rather than assisting a potential customer I was instead asked to provide my credentials to 'prove' I am able to use the equipment. Nowhere on the website does it specify this is would be required. Like many other film maker's, I am not affixed to a production company; therefore classed as an independent. 'Jack' seemed to not understand this concept and instead of moving forward with a potential transaction he decided to email saying 'You keep saying you're independent but what does that mean' and 'Did you go to university'. After eventually giving my credentials and links to previous work I did not hear back. Great customer service! Overall you would not expect to be interviewed by a company simply loaning equipment. I have since loaned equipment from elsewhere hassle free and would advise people to do the same.
