The buffet costs £24 per adult. There was a limited selection of dishes and staff were slow to replenish. I had lamb on the BBQ skewers, the meat was chewy. I also had king prawns, which were tasty. I tried the thin noodles and the foo yung which was nice. My wife had tepanyake, which she really enjoyed. We went mid afternoon so maybe the dishes get restocked more frequently in the evenings. WORST. BUFFET. As you can see from my many reviews, I don't often do one star reviews at all...but... I'm sorry to say it, with it being one of the only buffet's in the area, I was hoping for much better. However...this is the first time in my life that I have ever been to a buffet and stopped eating before I was even remotely full. In fact, we went to find somewhere else to eat immediately after leaving. The selection was great, so many choices, but the quality was TERRIBLE! None of the dishes, Indian or Chinese, tasted anything like what they traditionally do. If this buffet was £5 per person, I still wouldn't go back. But it's not. It's WAY more! Really, really disappointed.

If you're looking for a good deal on a meal, look no further than this buffet. At £13 per person, it's super cheap. But don't let that price fool you - the food is fresh and comes in a wide variety. The selection of cuisines is impressive. They serve Japanese, Indian, Mexican, and many other types of dishes. The staff, especially the barwoman Deepthi and Solomia, are great at helping you choose what to try. The manager is also really friendly and welcoming. There's just one minor issue - the ice cream. It's not terrible, but it's not as good as the rest of the food. So, if you're a student looking to eat well without spending too much, this is definitely the place for you. The food is plentiful and tasty, and the staff are super helpful. Just skip the ice cream.

Went here on the evening around 7pm. Was very quiet so wasn't much food out. I love sushi but there was just individual bits here and there. Food was ok. Everything had spice on it even the pizzas? The lady serving cake from the counter didn't want to part with her cakes 😅 Service was good but not outstanding, the only staff I found cheerful were the 2 young girls who were collecting the dishes, atmosphere quiet but it was a weekday. Beautiful decor. Maybe it would've been better going on a busy evening. Unsure if I'd go back when in York.
