    I would give zero if i could, Held my car on recall for 4 weeks(was suppose to be two weeks max), Zero updates on how long it would take,bad communication, No courtesy car from Palmers (had to sort it through actual Peugeot), Terrible customer service (nobody seems to want to be there), Tried to overcharge me for everything they supposedly found on health check.(£470 quote,costed me £150 elswhere). My back tire was urgently needing replacement apparently (£85)-not even advisory on MOT. I bought that car there,as soon as you put a pen to paper and they get the money of you for the car suddenly they don't give a **** about you anymore. Do not do business with this branch.

    Palmers Service department are absolutely appalling. They sold my wife an electric car and a few days after it came in for its first service it has broken down with 2000 miles on the clock and had to be towed by the RAC. This was back on Good Friday (7th April). Today is the 25th April and nothing has happened. My wife requested a courtesy car and was told that she needed to pay 30 pounds. To be fair to Peugeot themselves, they intervened and sorted a courtesy car for free as it should have been offered by Palmers. We are almost three weeks in and they now tell us they have ordered a volt meter this Monday (I mean why should a garage that services electric cars have a volt meter, that would be far too logical !!). This was only ordered this Monday and they tried to use bank holidays as an excuse despite them only starting to look at the car on 13th April (there has been no bank holidays since the 13th). They are still repeatedly telling us they dont know what is wrong yet they are adamant that it was just a coincidence that the car was serviced a few days prior to the breakdown. I wonder how they know the two things aren't connected when they dont know what the issue is (!). I made an initial review on Google about their lack of professionalism and they phoned my wife and asked her to get me to remove it as it gave them a bad name. Intimidating customers to remove a review is not what I would expect. Nothing I wrote was not fact. We asked for daily updates, that started well but has now become sporadic. They kept telling us that they need help from Peugeot as without it it could be a health hazard for them to look at the car (fear of electrocution apparently) which suggests they are not trained in which case you do wonder why they are taking money to service cars. The car is under warranty and Peugeot have been quite good in helping but Palmers neither care or are seemingly equipped to sort this out. I can only speak from experience but looking at other reviews it seems we are not alone. When you phone, the relevant person is never available (and when he phones back is very sulky) and the manager just gives excuse after excuse but no-one has a plan on what they intend to do. How can a dealer that sells electric cars not have a volt meter and after 17 days we are no further forward than on day 1. I know there have been a couple of days holiday but the garage themselves have a duty of care to fix this car or at least get it fixed by someone at Peugeot that knows what they are doing. I would not recommend anyone buys a car from Palmers and certainly not get a service done there.
