We have been coming here for decades, all of the staff from the receptionists to the doctors are amazing. A lot of the reviews on here seem quite unfair. 10 out of 10.

My son gets his milk prescribed for his lactose intolerance, requested a new prescription 4 days ago. Been to the pharmacy and they have sent a prescription for carobel for his reflux. Request stated the prescription was for milk. Lucky the pharmacy had a small tub otherwise a 5 month old baby would of been left without milk. I have a list as long as the great wall of China why these is probably the worst surgery in sundrland. But potentially leaving a 5 mo th old without his milk is way out of line.

I have been at this practice for many years. I think the staff are under alot of pressure, but I have always managed to see / speak to a GP or Nurse P when needed, even during covid.

Back to doctor 2 month after going to see as my arm is no better . After trying to get appointment for 2 weeks for the docter to say I have to wait for physio which I have being now for 9 weeks to go private and pay. She went on to say it will cost me around £1500 quid 🤣,.then she gave me a letter to ring the diebetic line as I have being waiting 10 weeks for that. She only gave me my own number to ring . OMG waist of time. I rang them and have never heard of me . She just fobbed me off what are we supposed to do 😡😡😡😡

I know in these times of Covid it’s hard to get an appointment, however in my experience when I needed help and to speak to a Dr they helped me every step of the way. myself, family and children are all patients of the practice and I have only had positive experiences.

For someone never been off a days sick in my life and not knowing the process. I feel utterly let down by the system to see a doctor. I was told to call at 8am when appointments were made available, which I did, was in a queue for 45 minutes only to be told when I eventually got through, that all appointments are fully booked today and to try calling again tomorrow. The NHS staff do a remarkable job but the current system is flawed and must make their job so frustrating.
