My recent interaction with a server at a comic book shop was extremely disappointing. As a small business owner, I was hoping to receive support from the shop, but instead, I was met with rude and dismissive behavior. From the moment I approached the server and explained my situation, they seemed uninterested and unengaged. They did not ask any questions or express any enthusiasm about my small business, and their lack of interest was palpable. When I pressed for more information on how the shop could support my business, the server became outright rude. They dismissed my inquiries with snarky comments and a condescending attitude, which made me feel belittled and unimportant. As a small business owner, I know the importance of building relationships and networking with others in the community. However, the server at this comic book shop seemed to have no interest in fostering those relationships or supporting small businesses like mine. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this comic book shop. Their server's rude and dismissive behaviour left a sour taste in my mouth and made it clear that they have no interest in supporting small businesses in the community. I would not recommend this shop to anyone looking for a supportive and welcoming community.

Worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. The guy who talked to my friend and I who I’ve come to learns name is Stephen was so incredibly pretentious it was ridiculous. We had barely finished asking about an enquiry and he just immediately started sh*ting on us. I understand being protective of something you love (very clearly his comics) but there are so many other ways of going about things instead of trying to talk down to two 19 year olds. When I came in I was very interested and was gonna come back to actually buy something but never mind cause I don’t want my money going to such a pretentious rude man. Stephen needs to get a grip thank you and goodbye

I had the displeasure of dealing with a server at a local comic book shop, and I must say that I was extremely disappointed with their behaviour. As a young designer from Nottingham Trent, our collective was looking to collaborate with the shop and create a unique series of posters that aligned with the store's theme. However, instead of welcoming our ideas and showing interest in working with us, the server was extremely rude and dismissive. From the moment we started discussing our ideas, the server's negative attitude was evident. They made it clear that they had no interest in collaborating with us and shut down our ideas without any consideration. Their lack of professionalism was shocking and left us feeling disheartened. As young designers, we were excited at the prospect of working with a comic book shop and were willing to put in the effort to create a poster collection that would fit in with their store's theme. However, the server's dismissive attitude and rudeness made it clear that they were not interested in working with us. Overall, I would not recommend this comic book shop to anyone looking to collaborate with them. Their server's behaviour was extremely unprofessional, and they missed out on a potential collaboration with young, eager designers from Nottingham Trent.

This bookshop was brilliant! I came across this place by chance, but it had a huge selection of graphic novels and comics- suitable for all ages and tastes! Plenty of graphic novels relevant to social and historical issues too, which was fab for me. The owner was very knowledgeable and friendly, and recommended me some great graphic novels based on my preferences, I'll definitely come back!
